Question : Hello Doctor,

My wife is currently in XXXXXXX She wants to get the COVID vaccine. Can you please let me know which vaccine shall she go with as this will be her first dose,

Is COVAXIN available for her age or is that good because I read somewhere it is for below 18 yrs old.

Kindly suggest which one to go for, COVAXIN or COVIESHIELD. Are any of these vaccines mRNA?

Hello,

I am a 33yrs old, female. I was skeptical rather scared to take any vaccinations because of my comorbidities.
Now, I want to take Covaxin but I've some doubts:

www.Cowin.gov portal is showing vaccination centers for Covaxin is (15-18)yrs

Is Covaxin dosage & medication the same for younger(15-18)yrs and adults(18 & above)?

Kindly help me with these queries so that I can get vaccinated.

I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you are safe to take the covaxin. The covaxin is composed of inactivated hole virion in not an RNA vaccine.
It is used for people over 18 as well as for 15-18 years.
The same dosage of vaccine is used for over 18 and for 15-18 years.
