Question : Acute oral gum pain specially while lying down or resting. Note, the patient has delivered a baby 3 weeks back.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
Acute oral gum pain needs to be evaluated by a dentist first for any gingivitis or caries tooth or infection which can be the cause of such pain. If needed then she can be started on antibiotics course which are not secreted in breast milk and then treated. But a visit to a dentist would be mandatory.
