Question : Im having severe burning %pain in my penis. Its also discharging slimy white secretions. And I took a home uti test which said my leukocytes was positive indicating a uti. Will azo cure this or do I need to get a prescription. And if do. Can you prescribe me something for this

Better do an uroculture.

Hello dear,

I don't think that AZO can help you.
It is used to control the repeated infections but not acute infections.
Best way to get treated is to do an uroculture and take the antibiotics which come out as a result of it.
If I had to treat you empirically ( without doing an uroculture) I would have prescribed levofloxacine 500 mg daily for 7 days.
