Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
The advised dose of Meftal P is 5-8 milligram /kg body weight in 24 hours
Your baby is 11 kgs .& has 102 temp..so would need 66 mg of medicine per day to lower his fever...in 3 equal doses(8 houly )
5 ml of MeftalP has 100 mg of the medicine...so he would need 1.1 ml of medicine three times a day ..according to his body weight
Mostly at least 3 days dosing is needed to relieve the fever...if it dose not come down in 1 hour of dosage OR in case fever persists after 3 days..Or if baby does not digest...a further assessment his doctor is needed.
Baby needs to be kept well hydrated&get light nourishing food while having food.
