Question : I HAVE A VERY SORE THROAT BUT I AM GOING TO HAVE A TOOTH REMOVED AND THE DOCTOR ORDERED CEPHALEXIN IF MY TOOTH BOTHERED ME. I WOULD CALL MY DOCTOR BUT IT IS SUNDAY.
YOUR HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

WOULD THE CEPHALEXIN HELP MY SORE THROAT, MY TOOTH HAS NOT BEEN BOTHERING ME AND I HAVEN'T TAKEN ANY.

yes cephalexin helps sorethroat. since cephalexin is antibiotic and sorethroat can be caused by bacteria it helps. I also suggest warm salt water gargles along with cephalexin. increase water consumption as well.
