Can You Tell Me When I Might Get My Next Periods?

Question: I had an abortion on 11th september 2020 and was on birth control from 19th sept after which i got my first period on 13th october, after that i started birth control meds on 22nd october and on 24th october my boyfriend penetrated without protection , he pulled it out within few seconds since we werent ready and there was no ejaculation. Since we were scared i tool unwanted 72 on 24th october itself and continued with my birth control medicines. the 21 days course of medicine finished on 11th november, but i havent got my periods yet. Can u tell me when i might get my next periods? I even took a pregnancy test on 11th november and it was negative.

If you are taking the pills regularly without missing any dose then you are protected against pregnancy. There is no need to take unwanted 72 or i-pill after unprotected sex.

After stopping the 21 tablets on 11th November, it will take the next 3-4 days for the bleeding to start. Since the pregnancy test is negative there is no need to worry.

Thank you for your reply, i Have been taking the medicines regularly at night, but i missed one dose of it on 1st november , hence took that missed dose on 2nd morning and another one at night. will that create any complication? Also is one pill of unwanted 72 sufficient or 2 should be taken within 12 hr intervals? Is there anything else i need to do?

Taking a pill late by 12hours does not cause any problem. To avoid unwanted pregnancy two pills of unwanted 72 should be taken within 12hours .
You only need to wait for your periods to start on their own.

Okay, Thanks a lot. Its just that my periods have always been regular before the mtp with a cycle of 25-26 days and since its been 30 days since my first period came, i am a lil anxious.
