                                    Brief Answer:
no it will persist
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Nd. , a proved deficiency persists with growth also.
It is not a major illness if we take some precautions.
One has to avoid some drugs like sulpha ,chloroguine ,septrin, etc.
Also avoid naphthalene balls use on dress in the cupboards etc.
Sometimes any infection can precipitate illness like hemolysis causing anemia.
When you find the child pale in colour, you must immediately take him to the doctor and check his hemoglobin.
Always inform the doctor about his deficiency.
But people live with this Normally and you need not get scared.
If he has other sibs also pl test them and also both of you.
Good luck
God bless
Dr. Uma
