Question: My 15month old daughter has been suffering from wheezing problem since last one month. Her paed had prescribed Nebulizer with Duloin thrice daily. Recently we saw another paed and she was prescribed Ambrolite-S 4ml thrice daily. She generally gets these severe bouts of cough during night when we put her to sleep. And sometimes when she's been fed food/milk. We are really bothered with these serious bouts of cough which refuse to go and also disturb her sleep. We are from Bangalore, India where such respiratory problems are considered common in kids. Please suggest.

Hi,

You could have mentioned your doctor's primary diagnosis.
According to the description it appears to be a case of milk allergy.
You can see your physician and Pediatrician and ask them about testing for allergies.
Your doctor can put your child on antiallergics instead of anti asthmatics. This will improve.
Ask you doctor about alternative to the current formula. You can take this to the doctor who can identify the common allergens in the formula or the milk that you feed. Every child is different and needs a better care. Sometimes we need to do a trial and error to identify the appropriate allergen.

I can assist you giving more information if you have further queries.
