Question : My son is 9 years old has pain in his genitals sometimes accompanied with "stinging" during urination and today this goesI pain from his belly button to the center of his chest. However no fever but a little pale and has vomitted once.

Such symptoms can be caused by urinary tract stones, inguinal hernia, testicle torsion, testicle inflammation.
Urinary tract stones causes groin or testicle pain, radiating to the same side back, burning when urinating, frequent urinating. Blood in urine can appear, The pain comes and goes suddenly.
Inguinal hernia causes groin or testicle pain, aggravating when coughing or pushing abdomen. The lump in the groin can appear while standing or coughing.
Testicle torsion gives very strong pain in the testicles, associated with vomiting.
Testicle inflammation causes mild testicle pain with fever and burning while urinating.
It is advisable to start with abdominal ultrasound, urine analysis and full blood work. If the pain is unbearable, it can be torsion - this is very urgent and you should go to ER in such case.
