Question: my daughter is sick with fever and sore throat. She is shivering. How to reduce the shivering?
She also threw up
She had high fever but the fever went down after she took Advil
She is still shivering

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Shivering should be controlled once the fever comes down.

If she is still shivering cover her up with a blanket. This should control the shivering. Once shivering stops you can remove the blanket.

What is the age of your child? Is it 14 months or 14 years?

How long is your child having fever?
What are the associated complaints?
