Question : i had a davinci robotic hesterectormy one month ago is it usual to still be constipated ? My bowels have improved, and i do have bm each day but it takes great effort to have them. I drink a lot of juice esp prune and eat a lot of fiber.

Thank you for your query.

Da vinci hysterectomy is a less invasive procedure than others. It has minimum risk & less side effect.

May be the bowel problem is due to side of the drug you have taken or taking after operation.
Sometimes physical inactivity after operation create this problem.

Take plenty of fluid & continue your fiber intake. Try to keep yourself active.
If symptoms trouble you, then you can take ispagula husk for a short period.
