Question : i have had a cough with yellow mucus for about 10 days should i go to the doctors office or is it safe to wait a couple more days to see if i get better. the only other symptom is a occasionaly sore throat.

I understand you need help with your cough with expectoration.

Your symptoms suggests that the infection has already set in and would need prescription Antibiotics course. For which, you need to consult your Physician for examination and relevant investigations as soon as possible to put you on suitable Antibiotic.

For your sore throat, regular salt water warm gargles would beneficial for you.
