Question : It seems that many different Gastroenterologist have their own approach to preparation. From meralax to golitely. Com one day to two day. Fri split dosage to single dosage . Are all the approaches just ad good. Golytely had a bad reputation causing people to vomit. I don’t know if being a type two diabetic is a factor ?

Nothing to do with diabetes.

Different doctors have different approach for both these medicines they have the same salt.
You can follow any approach you want and which is helpful for you.

Hello,

I have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns,
Both are the same things. However there might be differenciation of fillers and some other ingredients.So if it does not fits you then avoid taking Golytely and start taking miralax.
All approaches are ok.
Take dosage as per your requirement.
Being diabetic has nothing to do with these laxatives.
