Question : hi,
I take lamotrigine, celexa, estrogen and hydroclorathizide. I am having non-stop coughing all day. In the past I was told one of these meds might cause coughing, but can't recall which one.
Advice?

Brief Answer:
lamotrigine or celexa probably
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
all of these drugs may cause cough although the frequency of this side effect is not very high. Estrogen and hydrochlorothiazide are the less likely drugs to do so. Celexa and lamotrigine are most likely ones. If you're having serious or annoying side effects, you should discuss it with the treating doctor.
Also note that proton pump inhibitors reduce gastric acidity, therefore damage to the esophagus is less likely with reflux but the reflux still occurs. It's just not as acidic as before using the drug.
I hope you find my comments helpful!
Kind Regards!
