If no symptoms, the risk for bleeding is minimal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The risk of brain hemorrhage is linked with clinical findings after trauma, so, if there are no symptoms such loss of consciousness, nausea, vomiting, lethargy, vision and speech problems, any limbs weakness, etc. the risk for brain hemorrhage is near zero.
Only in cases that the patient had previous problems with coagulation such use of the blood thinner drugs, malignancy, blood diseases, etc. the risk increases.
In conclusion, if there were no symptoms after hitting the head and no previous coagulation issues, bleeding in such cases is very unlikely.
Otherwise, an evaluation by your mother primary care Doctor is necessary.
