Question : ...OK my name is XXXXXXX, I'm 27 years old in mid 2016 I noticed a swollen lymnode in submadibular node but left alone no pain so why bother over next year's till now I have been on several antibotics ect. Still here so went in recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and h.S. and so they ordered some results say thyroid diffusely enlarged with a heterogeneous appearance and an enlarged isthmus and lymnode noted inferior to left lobe of thyroid somewhat prominent 2.0 x 1.1 now been referred to ent for biopsy based of info does this sound cancerous lymphoma and leukemia run in family

So any lymph node more than 2 cm or equal need evaluation. Since it is long-standing, it may be lymphoma or some chronic infection. Without a biopsy, it is difficult to predict. The final call will be by biopsy.

OK so is the measurements I have 2.0 is that long axis and 1.1 c.m short axis or vise versa how do I read this
