Question: I have hamstring discomfort not torn or strained but an aching feeling. I have flat feet. Could this be a possible cause? I do not have back pain. I stretch regularly. Not obese.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to flat feet.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Flat feet can put an extra stress on your hamstrings specially during long walks or running. This can cause an achy pain in the muscles. Dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance also needs to be ruled out. You can increase your fluid intake and use proper shoe supports to help decrease the discomfort.
I hope this answers your query.
