Could Low Potassium Be The Culprit Leading To Arm Pain?

Question: I’ve been diagnosed with low potassium many, many times. My health is crummy (succinctly stated). The newest most painful symptom now dealing with is excruciating pain from my shoulders down my forearms. I can no longer do the simplest task such as unloading dishwasher or blow dry hair b/c I cannot lift my arms. Insomnia beyond description. Projectile vomiting 2or 3 Times a week. Unable to swallow my pills b/c I throw them up. Also have Barrett’s esophagus b/c of 2 decades of this mcg patches only. See a chronic pain dr. and have an app’t with internist (new one as I have just moved from XXXXXXX to XXXX). My question: could this low potassium be the culprit in some of this, especially arm pain? Thanks, XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
Possible compressive spine disease to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
I can certainly understand your concern
As per your symptoms the limb pain in your case is related to chronic neck disease possibly a compressive spine disease rather than low potassium.
Hence it's advisable to screen yourself for the same for through MRI scan of spine at the earliest.
Further management if any is largely based on test results.
Update me with the test reports to determine further course of action.
Post your further queries if any
Thank you
