I am not on any medicines. I also think it may be an infection bc one of my lymph nodes on my right pelvic area is swollen as well
Please read the detailed answer.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If lymph nodes are swollen and tender then an examination of these lymph nodes should be done by a surgeon or your GP. Lymph nodes swelling could be suggestive of inflammation and infection in the adjoining tissues which involves prostate also.
A second possibility could be compression of any artery in pelvic zone causing problem with erection(as lymph nodes are swollen. I would suggest you to start over the counter laxative to control constipation.
For erection I would suggest you to go for a test called semen and urine culture and microscopy. These test would rule out a possible infection in the tissue and organ related to erection.
Secondly serum testosterone should be measured.
A direct correlation between erectile dysfunction and constipation is very unlikely. However, I think that lymphadenopathy should be taken seriously and you should get yourself properly examined by a general practitioner.
Blood test Complete blood count and CRP - c reactive protein should be done to rule out an ongoing infection.
Follow up with reports and please re type that line so that things could be answered.
