Question : I have avascular necrosis of rt femur head. Hip replacement in a few weeks. For about two years, rt leg has been numb continually with tinglling, pins and needles in entire leg, worse in knee, calf, and foot. My question: could the necrosis of the femur head be causing some or all of the pins and needles and numbness?
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Tinglling sensation, pins and needles in entire leg are due to nerve compression. It is not due to necrosis of the femur head, compression may be in spine or in hip. Methylcobalamine 1500 mg at night will help you.
I hope this answers your query. Wishing you good health.
