Brief Answer:
Low lymphocyte levels are related to autoimmune diseases.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Low lymphocytes can be related to many medical conditions.
In this presentation they can be related to two causes:
-The use of prednisone
-The presence of rheumatoid arthritis, which is an autoimmune disease.
In this case the changes in the blood count are completely normal.
The values of the lymphocytes are usually transient.
They are related to the condition of the autoimmune disease.
