Could This Be Bone Or Muscle I Feel Something In Chest Area?

Question: I feel something in chest area. My left side is normal but on my right side something is bulging out. At first it felt like a lump but as I press I can trace out what I think is a bone or muscle that travels horizontally (from midline to my outer chest). The bulge is only in between the lines I drew on my chest. The rest of the horizontal muscle/bone feels normal.
I am going to see a doctor next week but I had a few questions that I hope you could help me with.
-Could this be bone or muscle?
-Why would I feel a bulge/lump only in this area and not the rest of the horizontal muscle/bone?
-Is this where my thymus is located?
-In lymphoma that affects the thymus or specific thymus cancer , would I be able to feel a bulge/lump In my chest area, particularly In between the lines I drew?
I have sjogrens so I worry about lymphoma and would like Some insight. The area is also a little red because I’ve been tracing out the bone/muscle. Thank you.
