Brief Answer:
Inflammatory origin more likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, single
preauricular lymph node enlargement at
your age sounds to be inflammatory origin
rather than cancer.

However, kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Progress of condition since onset.
2. Associated symptoms of ear ache, fever,
cough if any.
3. Details about swelling as consistency,
changes in warmth of o relying skin ?
4. Any swelling over other site of body ?

Awaiting for your response.
Regards .

It's been around a month of inflamation. Warmth around the ear a little bit, but not much. Mostly dull aching/pressure. No fever, it has been the same size for the entire time. Has not gotten bigger but did get smaller for a day.
