Brief Answer:
You might be having mild restrictive lung disease.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the PFT report you have attached.
This report is showing slightly reduced TLC (Total Lung Capacity).
This is seen with mild restrictive lung disease.
Your FEV1, FVC and FEV1 /FVC ratio are normal.
So no need to worry for obstructive lung disease.
May I know your symptoms?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions so that I can guide you better.
Wish you good health. Thanks.

I am experiencing shortness of breath/tightness in chest and some dizziness along with vision blurring. My spO2 stays consistently in the 94-97 range with occasional short dips (under 30 seconds) into the 80%E2%80%99s. When I take a deep breath often my ribs and sternum will pop/crack which does not cause significant pain. I do have some general discomfort in ribs usually a 2-3/10. I have had a dry unproductive cough for about 2 weeks now. I do get some relief when I lay on my stomach but no significant change in spO2 when in that position. I do have what I could describe as a buzzing feeling u see my skin in extremities. I will add I have a negative COVID Test and a family history of PF, Sarcoidosis, Lung Cancer, and Sclaraderma.

is the CT the only way to know what type of mild restrictive lung diseases? From what I%E2%80%99ve been able to read this type of disease runs from a minor issue all the way to fatal types.

Brief Answer:
In CT scan we can know various types of interstitial lung disease.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Ask a doctor forum.
Sorry for late reply as I was sleeping.
This is not good that your treatment is not started.
Restrictive abnormality on PFT is mostly suggestive of interstitial lung disease (ILD).
So CT tells us
1. Whether ILD is present or not
2. If present which pattern of lung involvement is there. On the basis of pattern we can identify type of ILD.
3. Extent of lung involvement.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
