Question: Recently I have undergone medical check up and my reports showing some parameters are on the normal side. They are as follows
Vitamin B12 180 pg/mL (Reference Range: 200 - 1100 pg/mL)
Vitamin D 10 ng/mL (Reference Range: 30 - 100 ng/mL)
Hemoglobin 12.3 g/dL (Reference Range: 13.2 - 17.1 g/dL)
MCH 26 pg (Reference Range: 27 - 33 pg)
MCHC 31.3 g/dL (Reference Range: 32 - 36 g/dL)
ERYTHROCYTE SEDIMENTATION RATE - 14 mm/hr (Reference Range: 1 - 10 mm/hr)
As you can see from the above report, ESR is on the higher side and all others are on lower side.
Could you please share your thoughts on the stats above and suggest a course of action?

Brief Answer:
Mostly normal report

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have seen the report and it is mostly normal. No big worries.
Some parameters that are outside normal range are high LDL cholesterol, low B12, low MCHC, low Hb, low vitamin D and high ESR.

For LDL cholesterol low fat diet and regular exercise is needed for now.
For low B12, low MCHC, low Hb taking vitamin B 12 supplement regularly will help. E,g Folisil-MD once a day for 3 months
For low vitamin D, daily exposure to sunlight is must. Vitamin D supplement can be taken. Capsule Uprise D3 1k twice a week for 2-3 months and recheck its value after 3 - 6 months.
High ESR means inflammation somewhere in body. It is non-specific and doesnot point towards any particular condition. If you have any symptoms please let me know so that I can help you better.
