Kindly refer to detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern for your father and I would like to tell you that stopping ecosprin for longer duration after an angioplasty increases the risk of stent getting blocked and thereby causing a heart attack, so it is not advisable at all except one has developed visible blood spots in eye.

For all cataract surgeries ecosprine is holded only for 5-7 days. He may requires further eye check up and physical examination by an ophthalmologist as many age related changes can also cause eye pain.

You should also monitor his blood pressure, high blood pressure can be a cause of eye pain. And it's advisable for you to start ecosprin again and consult personally your treating cardiologist regarding ecosprin dose.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
