Question : Hello Sir, My mother who is 62 yr old is diabetic and bp patient and is under medication. she has some black rashes on her legs that seems to be spreading. There is light water droplets that is seen too. Could you please tell me what it could be? and what is the medicine?

Hello Dr. Shinas,

Thank you for responding. No she does not have any fever, and there is no swelling in the leg too.
There is itching, but not severe. I did send a picture in my previous conversation.

Have uploaded 2 more images. The yellow color is because of the turmeric and coconut oil that she has applied.

The lesion seems like a fungal infection.
She can try over the counter available antifungals like Clotrimazole for symptomatic relief.
If lesion persists, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated further.
