Question : dark spot on lower right side of lip devolped quickly. Small (approx. eraser size), base of lower right side of lip. Not sore and don't feel any lump or "blister" type open sore. Live in very dry climate with a lot of wind.

                                    Hello,
Thanks for writing in,
This could be a melanocytic nevus or a lentigo.
Quick appearance should not be ignored.
You must visit a dermatologist and get yourself appropriately checked.
A dermatoscopy is warranted to rule out anything sinister.
If dermatoscopy shows a benign lesion, then nothing has to be done other than 6 monthly check ups.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask me
Thanks
