Brief Answer:
Excellent prognosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The result of operation are usually satisfactory.Nearly 90% of the patients remains fine at 4 years. So chances of recurrence are low.
Diet plays a important factor-
Fiber diet, plenty of water and bulking laxatives should be used foods which increase stool viscosity thus making more difficult stool expulsion “in one shot” should be avoided.
As per your query survival rate is excellent.
Hope i was helpful.
In case you have further questions feel free to ask.
Thank you and regards!
