I have gone carefully through your question and have checked the attached images. I understand your concern. Let me assure you that the surgery was necessary and not something optional. However, I expect no major complications. Complications ranging from wound dehiscence (rupture of the surgery site), bleeding, stricture (narrowing) etc. are some of the complications that can occur in short term but I do not expect them to happen. Long term complications include pain, stricture, keloid formation (a swelling over the surgery site), acid reflux, etc. but as I said, I am expecting nothing serious.
