Question : Dear Sir,
Kindly opine
44 age male with history of generalized lymphadenitis 8 years back with PET scan done and histopathology suggestive of tubercular lymphadenitis.
What is prognosis and possible long term complication in view of PET scan report.
Can this lymphadenitis will lead to cancer in future.

Brief Answer:
No chance of cancer

Detailed Answer:
As the biopsy proved tuberculosis, it's fully curable with anti tuberculosis medicine. There's no chance of developing cancer from this.

But of course, patient can have any cancer like any other individual.
