I am having sore throat from last 2 days. There are some ulcers as well.
Having cold and runny nose along with mild headache.

Hello,
Sore throat with cold and runny nose is mostly caused by a viral infection of the upper respiratory tract. It is generally self limiting and should improve within 5-7 days (you should start to feel better within 2-3 days).
Mouth ulcers can happen as well with the viral infections and they generally follow the same course (should improve within a week).
To help with the symptoms you can get some paracetamol and ibuprofen every 6 hours and try to use lozenges to sooth your throat and help with the pain. Meanwhile you need to rest as possible and drink plenty of fluids and if the appetite is not good try to eat frequent small amount of food.
If you are not better in 2-3 days or have any worsening or notice white spots on the tonsils or throat and have high fever and painful areas in the neck (possible lymphnodes) this might increase the chance of strep throat and in this case you might need antibiotics. In this case you will need to see your doctor and he might prescribe amoxicillin (or azythromycin if allergic to penicillins).
