Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Adipex contains phentermine, a stimulant, which leads to appetite suppression. Adderall contains mixed amphetamine salts in much, much higher doses. It would be highly, highly dangerous for your wife to take Adderall that was not prescribed to her in a monitored way. She would also fail any urine test, as this would show up positive as amphetamine. Therefore, I do not recommend your wife take Adderall.
