Do HCV Drugs Interact With Any Other Supplements?
Question: Sir/Madam,
Currently I am on treatment for Hepatitis C. Drugs are 180mc interferron/Wk. Sovaldi tablet 1 tab/day and ribavirin 400mg 3 time a day. Before treatment I was taking Hepachol capsule, Livolin Capsule, Essential capsule, Liver tablet and milk thistle tablet. All are one tablet/day. Can I continue these oral medicines during treatment. Thank you.

I read carefully all your concerns and I understood your query.
There is no know interactions between medication use for HCV treatment like( interferon, sovaldi,ribavirin) and your current medications.
Your current medication are use to protect the liver by damage of viral infection ( livoline, liver tablet and milk thistle.
The other drugs that you are using like hepachol, essential capsule ore supplements and there is no known interactions with HCV treatment drugs.
This is why to my opinion you can continue to take your current medications.
