In my throat. It is burning in my throat and my chest hurts. I took a medium and some tums. I have sit up for about an hour and still have discomfort in my throat and full pain in my chest. I took my blood pressure. It was 174/ 94. Now it is 158/89. Do I need to be concerned that it could be something else.

Brief Answer:
Yes, you should definitely consult the doctor because your BP is high.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Your blood pressure readings are high.

So we should definitely rule out heart-related diseases for your symptoms.

So better to consult a doctor and get done blood pressure monitoring, ECG and 2d echo.

If all these are normal then no need to worry about heart diseases.
For acid reflux, a combination of pantoprazole and levosulpiride will be helpful.

Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.

Hope I have solved your query.
