Question : Hi Dr

15 days back I aborted my pregnancy...still bleeding normally...do I need to concern and still how many days bleeding may continue....?

Hi,

I understand your concerns about continued bleeding after abortion. This is not normal and should have stopped.

It is possible that there might be some retained tissues after abortion which are coming out.
I suggest you to get an ultrasound examination from your doctor who performed abortion. This will help in understanding and evaluating if there are any retained pieces of abortus.
