Question : hello doc. my McH is low. do i need to take any medicine for that
Brief Answer:
MUCH and MCHC are normal. No medication required.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your blood report.
The blood report shows slightly high red blood cell count.
The red cell indices - MCH and MCHC are calculated parameters.
They are calculated from RBC count, Hb and Hematocrit.
Thus, a slight increase in red blood cell count is leading to slight decrease in MCH and MCHC.
There is nothing abnormal in the parameters and there is nothing to worry.
All other blood parameters are also within range.
Thanks and take care
