Do I Stop The Amlodipine While Using Fildena?

Question: Hi
Continuing from Dr Chail's response on amlodipine and Fildena 150 or viagra concurrent use. My Bp usually runs 150/100 on 20 mg lisinopril, and recently on a rare candy binge my BP went 190/110 and returned to 157/95 in 2 days on Amlodipine.
I have used fildena 150 successfully once or twice a day in conjunction with lisinopril, but never with both BP drugs. I use the fildena in week or month periods when my girlfriend visits from overseas. 63 ears old lots of s=exercise and no extra weight.
Do I stop the amlodipine when using Fildena 150?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Caution is advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your attached query in detail
Fildena 150 mg is known to cause low blood pressure readings. Hence it should be used cautiously with antihypertensive medications like Amlodipine and Lisinopril.
It's advisable to monitor your blood pressure on the day of sildenafil ( Fildena) usage. You can omit Amoldipine only if the blood pressure is in slightly lower to normal range. If the blood pressure is high ( > 150/80 mm of Hg) on the day of Sildenafil usage, it's advisable not to quit Amlodipine.
