Question : Dear Dr,
One of Aunt has Diabetes and Hypertension and recently done ECG (Attachhed herewith). Kindly suggest if the ECG is fine or not.

Hello,

After going through your medical details I understand your concern I would like to tell you that your ecg seems fine but kindly let me know what type of symptoms your aunt is experiencing so that I can guide you in a right way.

Patients with diabetes and hypertension are at higher risk for cardiovascular disease than non-diabetic & non-hypertensive patients. Your Aunt may require a basic cardiac checkup which includes

1. Echocardiography

2. TMT

3. Lipid Profile

Kindly tell your aunt’s symptoms for further guidance.
