Brief Answer: XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Good day,

Using a cream does not necessarily alter the metabolism ( unless you are using a steroid cream). One adrenal gland is sufficient to make cortisol, adrenaline and other hormones. In the absence of other adrenal gland, the remaining gland undergoes physiological changes ( hypertrophy) to compensate. If you are using a steroid containing cream in large doses for long term, that can affect your adrenal gland production of cortisol.
