Question : Does Digestive enzymes (pure encapsulations) raise blood pressure? I have taken 4 for swelling due to dentistry......bp is 236/109.
Brief Answer:
hi
Detailed Answer:
first, this is very high blood pressure and you should visit doctor and lower it as soon as possible. take antihypertensive medications right now and visit your GP.
digestive enzymes should not raise blood pressure and this is not some reported side effect, especially not such extremely high BP. It may cause certain allergic reactions, but it would lead to symptoms such as breathing difficutlties, rash, hypotension. In every case, dont take digestive enzymes till your bp stabilize. Wish you good health. Regards
