Question : Hi,
Do hematologists treat and diagnose Chronic EBV/Mono?
My tithers to ebv early Antigen AB are high and have gone up in a month. My other ebv tithers are high as well. Except no IGM.
I feel sick often for a little over a year. Have had and still have enlarged lymph nodes.

Hello,

If the VCA-IgM is negative but VCA-IgG, then it is likely that the person tested had a previous EBV infection.

The IgG tend to be high for the rest of person life

Your symptoms, in my opinion, will regress in a while.

No it’s not point to cancer

You will be better .I believe that you had the mono infection and your early antigen will going down

Does the elevated ebv early antigen ab point to cancer?
Lastly, are you saying I had a recent ebv mono infection in your opinion? So it may get better? As in early antigen tithers going down?
