Question: After being told my liver enzymes were abnormal I had a CAT scan. I was then told I needed an MRI. The prescription says hepatic tumor. Is that cancer

I will like to review the entire report. A tumor means a mass and cancer is something different. Not all tumors are cancers and as such before saying this is cancer or not, I will like to review the report. If this is suggestive of cancer, we often follow up with biopsy to establish the diagnosis.
