Question: I am getting ready to do the hcg diet. I have to get blood tests to check my thyroid levels. Will the hcg affect my blood test?

Since HCG's directly have inhibitory action over FSH ( follicle stimulating hormones) and TSH ( thyroid stimulating hormones ) due to its secretion from the common anterior pituitary gland.
It will bring out variations in thyroid level.
So it is advised to do the test before trying any hormonal supplements.
