Question : Sir , last Saturday I got minor surgery of ALA liver abscess.drain installed and fluid is comming out . I discharge on Monday and given antibiotics. I visited doctor on Wednesday and done a ultrasound. Doctor little change in medison . Till now fluid is comming out 70 ml per day . Today my drain removed . Doctor said that this fluid is pit . Liver always release pit . Is it right ?

Yes bile ("pith") is secreted by the liver which flows down the bile duct in to the intestine for digestive function.

But I cannot comment on that fluid that was drained by your doctor without seeing it.
If you have a picture of it, kindly post it. I will have a look at it and give my opinion.

Now I have no picture. but I am sending u all documents. A ultrasound have been taken after 4 days of surgery on Wednesday. I am sending u ultrasound copy .
