                                            Question : I take lyrica 100mg 2xday, OxyContin ER 30mg 2xday, and Celebrex 200 mg 2xday. Also, oxycodone/acet for break thru pain
I have spine and overall arthritis pain.. I am experiencing a Heart rate of 49 and blood pressure is 105 over 57.. my usual bp has been at 60 with bp of 115 over 60 prior to taking these drugs.
Could my low bp and heart rate be due to these drugs?

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query carefully.
First of all I would like to say that your BP is within normal range even after starting the treatment and you shouldn't worry about the blood pressure (BP).
Secondly your heart rate (HR) previous to the treatment was at the lower border of the norm. Since OxyContin ER has as a side effect to lower the HR, what you are experiencing is related to treatment.
However as long as you are symptomless you shouldn't discontinue the treatment. In order to avoid oxycodone overdose (the active ingredient of OxyContin) you should reduce the dose to one tablets per day.
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health ñ
