Brief Answer:
Yes, due to certain conditions the fluid can cause the rash

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I am afraid your doctor did not explain things well enough to you; the fluids that were seen are in fact caused and occur due to the inflammation itself, if your doctor was talking about oedema.

But if at all your son has accumulation of fluids in/around the testicles the cause could be conditions like varicocele, hematocele, etc. In this case, yes the fluid that has accumulated there can be the cause for the rash and swelling. Please request your doctor to schedule an ultrasound examination of the region.

I would also like you to know that I am always here to help, so please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

that helps a lot but can you tell me if the fluids in or around his testicles is what caused the bruising on the head of his penis

Brief Answer:
Unlikely in my opinion

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Bruising can take place anywhere around the testicular region and the base of the penis, but it is unlikely to cause bruising around the head of the penis; but only further evaluation can help determine the exact cause sir.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

thank you that explains the bruising on his ball sack and around his sack but I still don't get where the bruising on the head of his penis came from. Do you have any ideas what may have caused it? The bruise appeared after he had the rash. The bruise went away like a normal bruise would and we still think it's a medical bruise.

Brief Answer:
Most probably due to partially compromised blood supply to head of penis

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again and my sincere apologies for the delay.

Yes, I too think it could be a medical bruise. The most likely scenarios are either a bruise resulting from the abnormality around the scrotum from where some blood vessel that travels to to the head of the penis is present. Blood vessels that supply the head of the penis pass from around the scrotum region, and due to the inflammation and so on, it could have compromised the blood supply (partially) to the head of the penis resulting in the bruise like appearance around the head of the penis.

Or as a side effect to the cream, if it was used before the bruise around the head of the penis appeared.

Either way, as the bruise subsided without any real medical attention, it should have been innocent. Please forgive my delayed response as I was caught up, and also feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
