Question : My wife is approximately 5 weeks pregnant. She has a upset stomach and some bleeding. Is this normal or sign of miscarriage?
Brief Answer:
Diagnosis should be confirmed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi!
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Bleeding and pain can be due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or even subchorionic hemorrhage.
I will suggest her to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper examination, investigations including an Ultrasound abdomen to confirm the fetal viability.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
