Do You Recommend To Go At The ER For Evaluation?

Question: I am a 63 year old male who has one Movement Disorder Neurologist started about a month or so ago treating me for Tourette's Syndrome with Seroquel at 25Mg and not are at 100Mg. I have another Neurologist (neuro-musculor) that has helped me to find a painful condition of Small Fiber Neuropathy after about 15 tests including MRIs/CT scans, etc. She a is treating me with 300Mg Lyrica for the past 6 months and just added Pamelor 100Mg to also help with the neurology. I have in the past month notices a issue of a lot of tremors and shakiness in hands (this is likely Lyrica related so we may cut the dosage back), but I have also noticed a problem of trouble speaking my sentences and getting a little brain farts as well call them, and last friday and had on on a conference call with a customer where I got stuck mid-sentence and could not complete it. This was 8 days ago and my neurologist saw me yesterday and tested me in her office and said there was a slight decrease in strength on the left side. She wanted to check me into the hospital for a possible TIA/mini stroke. I want to wait 2 days to talk to my general internist as I feel going to the hospital for a potential stroke 8 days ago is overkill, usually you want to get there within 12 hours. I just think this neurologist is being too aggressive (as she has shown it the battery of tests in the past). Do you think in general I could wait until Monday, I feel fine now, thank you for any insight.
Brief Answer:
I recommend to go at the ER for evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
TIA or ministroke is a medical condition that need urgent treatment.
So, in my opinion, you should not wait until Monday.
You should go at the emergency room for further evaluation and specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards!
