Brief Answer:
The descriptions are not likely related to HIV- the risk with oral intercourse is pretty close to zero.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service,

I carefully read your query and understand your concern.

Very likely, diarrhea, you had weeks after the encounter is due to a common viral infection and nothing to worry about. The reason for this is that the risk for HIV transmission through oral intercourse is little to zero.

There would be a small risk if there were sores in the mouth or lesions on the penis (open wounds or bleeding lesions) during the time of the intercourse. If there were no such lesions the risk for HIV transmission is pretty close to zero.

The neck lymph nodes are not worrisome unless they are 2 cm in size or over. So, the lymph nodes you describe are quite normal and almost all of us have some small lymph nodes in the neck if we carefully check for them.

On the other hand, just to be on the safe side, I would recommend you to have a blood test for HIV infection, just to rule it out completely. So far we spoke with probability language (little to no chance) but having the test will definitely clarify it.

I would like to add that HIV infection can be almost 100% prevented if the right measures are followed. Avoiding any activity (even those with low risks, such as oral intercourse) with casual partners is very important.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
